i did a painting using that old stencil for a friend of mine way back when i first made it, and he's got it hanging in his house. now, i want that piece of shit back because i think it sucks and i don't want people looking at it and thinking i suck, but he won't give it up, the bastard. anyway, one day i'll just take it when he's not looking.
& yes, I know exactly what you mean about doing things for a while & improving greatly. My last stencil piece was leaps & bounds above anything I had done previously, &even then, I learned so much doing it that I feel like the next huge project will be even better.
Watch out Mr Han, Bruce is on his way.
i try to make all the areas on the lower layers large enough so i'm always covering them with the one on top, that way even if one layer isn't lined up right it'll still look good (or you can just move it a little and spray it again.)
anyway no brushes at all unless you count when i was putting glue on the newspaper.
